Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-05

This Privacy Policy explains how the MentalMath platform (website and mobile app) collects, stores, and protects the personal data of its users. We pay special attention to protecting the privacy of children and comply with both COPPA and GDPR requirements.

1. Data Collection

We may collect the following data: name, username, password (hashed), email (if provided), date of birth (optional), learning statistics, and technical data about the device (IP address, device type, push notification token). This data is used solely to provide the service and improve the learning experience.

2. Data Storage

Data is stored on secure servers in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Passwords are encrypted using a one-way hash algorithm. Technical and organizational protection measures are applied.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The service uses the following third-party services: Google Sign-In (optional sign-in method — your Google account name and email address are received), Firebase Cloud Messaging (device token for push notifications), Telegram Bot (parents only, optional — for receiving reports), and Google AdMob (a limited amount of advertising in the mobile app only). Ads in the mobile app are shown in child-appropriate, non-personalized mode; AdMob may process technical device identifiers in the process — see the Google privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) for details. We do not sell or share children's personal data for advertising purposes.

4. Right to Erasure

Users have the right to delete their account at any time (GDPR Article 17 — "Right to erasure"). After requesting deletion, a 30-day grace period applies, during which the deletion may be cancelled by signing in again. After 30 days, all personal data is automatically anonymised. A deletion request can be submitted from the in-app "Privacy" page or via support@mental-math.uz.

5. COPPA Compliance (for children)

MentalMath is intended for children aged 6 to 16. Users under 13 require parental or legal guardian consent. A parent may at any time review, modify, or request deletion of their child's data.
